Event First Aid Cover

Do you need event cover?

When large crowds gather for public events there needs to be first aid cover to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those attending. Our volunteers are trained in advanced first aid and lifesaving skills and attend hundreds of events each year.

In the event of an accident or illness occurring, our volunteers' skills are vital in preventing further harm and saving lives. They provide essential support until the emergency services arrive.

What event cover can St John Ambulance offer?

We can provide ambulance, first aid and medical services, tailored to the requirements of each individual event. We can provide a whole range of resources including:

  • Qualified first aiders;
  • Emergency ambulances and crew;
  • Emergency vehicles;
  • Registered nurses;
  • Mobile treatment centre
  • Cycle response teams.

We provide first aid cover across the Island, from Fetes to many of the high profile events, for example:

  • Jersey Live
  • Horse Racing
  • Sand Racing/ Karting
  • Marathons - Collas Crill Island Walk
  • Battle of Flowers

How do I book St John Ambulance for my event?

Contact us on (01534) 507809 to get in touch with St John Ambulance. We will need to know the following information:

  • Date and time
  • Venue/location
  • Type of event
  • Numbers attending/participating
  • Any special requirements.

The more notice you can give us, the more likely it is that we will be able to provide cover for your event. Large events often need planning beginning many months in advance.
