CARERS' SUPPORT PROGRAMME
2017 SESSION DATES
The Carers Support Programme sessions are taking place in the spring, summer and autumn on the dates below. These sessions are held in our dedicated Care Room at St John Ambulance HQ, Midvale Road, St Helier starting at 10am and finishing at 2pm. A light lunch is included and parking at our Headquarters will be made available for Carers whilst attending these sessions.
Mondays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th March
Thursdays 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th June
Saturdays 23rd, 30th September and 7th, 14th October

The Carers Support Programme is for people of all ages who help or care for someone in an unpaid capacity, this may be short or long term, from 24 hours a day to just popping in occasionally. Practical advice and support for anyone who finds themselves in this situation caring for a parent or child, looking after a neighbour or friend, or simply just assisting another, post operation or after an accident.
Do you have more questions than answers and not sure who to ask or where to get help from?
St John Ambulance Jersey can care for you, through our free programme available to anyone helping a friend, neighbour or relative, and it doesn't matter how long you spend in this role - everyone is welcome.
The programme includes:
- A Carer's role
- Looking after your back
- Stress management
- Safety in the home
- First aid
