Adult operational volunteer

As a first aider at events, you will be part of the team that saves lives. This volunteer role can see you at most of the island’s events which are held throughout the year.

You do not need previous first aid experience to become an operational volunteer as we will give you all the training you need. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills to become an Advanced First Aider and to apply for specialist posts such as communications, logistics or vehicle custodians. You may also wish to develop your supervisory and managerial skills to become a Unit Leader.

As a volunteer community fundraiser you can help us save lives and deliver our charitable aims throughout the island, without ever picking up a first aid kit. We’re looking for imaginative, enthusiastic and determined individuals to join our fundraising team. You'd help us deliver our fundraising activities.

You could be involved with:

• Donation tin collections
• Flag days
• Attendance at events marketing our services and raising funds.
• Helping at open gardens
